Belfer Center for Applied Cancer Science

When leadership of DFCI’s Belfer Center for Applied Cancer Science turned to HCC for a website that was technically and informationally up-to-the-minute, one of their most critical needs was to be able to quickly and easily keep site content current with the Center’s fast-moving advances. We updated and migrated the Center’s content and graphics to a platform with an easy-to-use content management system, which also provided the opportunity to create a new site with responsive display on mobile and tablet devices.

Development of the new site began with a series of “discovery discussions” and creation of an audience- and goal-focused communication strategy to guide decisions about messaging, structure, and functionality. HCC then worked with Belfer Center leadership to update the site’s content and to refresh the site’s visual approach while retaining the Belfer Center’s well-established and respected identity.
