A distinctive identity for the NIH/NCI-supported Lung Cancer Disparities Center (LCDC) helped introduce and establish its activities within the research community. The Center’s research explores socioeconomic status and population patterns of risk, with the ultimate goal of reducing these disparities by influencing the multiple pathways that lead to poor health.
