Growing Up Today Study (GUTS)

Key informant interviews with 40 members of the GUTS cohort provided insight into how the study team could strengthen participant commitment to completing annual questionnaires. As part of a retention strategy developed by HCC that incorporated what we learned from the interviews, we created a brief video in which the study’s PI, Stacey Missmer, MD, provided a response rate update, affirmed the importance of long-term participation, and expressed her heartfelt thanks to participants. Participants received a “Note from the Study Team” email with a link to the video on the study site (where they also can conveniently take their surveys).
